If you want to learn more from school you have to go library. Library is the place where we can learn everything for free. This blog is all about library in Udaipur and here I am presenting you list of library in Udaipur (Public library). This libraries are free and well maintained. You can go there and read your favorite books, news papers and novels. I personally like Rajasthan Sahitya academy (sec.4) near Gyan mandir school.

#1 Rajasthan Sahitya Academy Library of Udaipur
I read many blogs about library in Udaipur but I never found any mention about that particular Library. I don’t know why but it is true that locals of Udaipur have no idea where is this Library situated. This is one of the best library of Udaipur.
The Rajasthan Sahitya Academy was established by the state government as a governing body on 28 January 1958 and was granted autonomy on 8 November 1962, subsequently the institute promoted literature and literary awareness in Rajasthan as per its constitution.
Library Is constantly active for the promotion of. The construction of Rajasthan Sahitya Academy is a happy event for the literary world and an important step towards the cultural and literary reconstruction and development of Rajasthan.

#2 Saraswati Bhawan Library: Gulab Bagh
This library is famous one of the well known free Public library in Udaipur. Gulab Bagh was famous for Zoo and this library got an exposure from that particular place.Saraswati Public Library Gulab Bagh in Udaipur-rajasthan is one of the leading businesses in the Libraries. #3 Kunzru Library library Fatehpura Udaipur.
When Seva Mandir was founded by Dr Mohan Singh Mehta, he also dreamt of creating a good library. He intended it to be used by staff to continue their education in the social sciences and community development, to feed the libraries and reading rooms of the villages served by Seva Mandir, and to become a centre for continuing education for the general public. library has grown dramatically.
They have currently more than 10,000 books in the collection as well as many more journals and magazines. Besides serving Seva Mandir’s staff and volunteers, membership is open to the public and over 100 visitors use the library every day. The library is one of the few public spaces in Udaipur city where ordinary people can pursue serious intellectual self-advancement, and people from all walks of life use the building, ranging from students preparing for government exams, to elderly people reading the newspaper, school children reading comics, and teachers referring to development literature.

#4 Jagdish Chowk Library, City palace Road Udaipur.
It is the first such library for public use. This is the most popular Public Library in Udaipur Though the number of readers may be reduced due to internet, more information is available in books only. This is the reason why not only Udaipur, people from the division, state, country and come abroad.
Researchers along with students from various faculties of school and college come to the library. School children also come to make projects on different subjects because they get material and photos according to the subject. Well Apologies Jagdish chowk library will shifted to Hanuman Park complex in Ashok Nagar and new address will be updated soon. cheers…

#5 Aalim Charitable Trust: Library in Hathipole Udaipur.
This centre is a platform for sharing and disseminating knowledge.It houses a public library that serves the needs all age groups and all sections of society. It is also a space where children from economically weaker sections of society can come and study. It has four computers with internet access to help students with their research.
Udaipur a very popular tourist destination, is a picturesque city in the culturally rich and historic state of Rajasthan in north west India. While the city has grown by leaps and bounds, the love of book, reading and learning from books is an alien concept to even the well to do strata of the society. There are very few libraries, with limited access to books and the world of knowledge.
