Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha

Transliteration
gururbrahmā gururviṣṇuḥ gururdevo maheśvaraḥ।
guru sākṣāta brahma tasmai śrīguruve namaḥ।

English Translation
Salutations to that guru who is the brahama, Vishnu and Shiva, who is the immortal. I bow down to that guru who can create, sustain and destroy. The Guru is limitless.

Meaning the essence

The Guru who is like Brahma, that is, the one who creates, creates a virtuous person from a child to the Guru,
Guru is also called Vishnu, that is, just as Vishnu is the maintainer of this entire world, in the same way the Guru is the one who nurtures the knowledge of his disciple.
Guru is also called Mahesh i.e. Mahesh (Shiva ji) who destroys the sins of the whole world, similarly Guru destroys our ignorance and gives us new life.
